What we do

Information, support and awareness raising

We support families across Scotland who are affected by drug misuse and raise awareness of issues affecting them.

We do this by providing information and support to families and those working with them.

Family Support Groups

We help to set up Family Support Groups and give advice and ongoing support for the running of the groups.

Our Family Development Support Officer, Lisa Finlayson, says, ‘These groups provide essential emotional and practical support to their members.

‘It gives me tremendous satisfaction to see group members grow in confidence as they work together on activities for the benefit of their group and communities.’

Find a support group in your area.

Helpline

Our free and confidential helpline operates each evening from 5pm – 11pm.

The helpline is primarily for anyone who has been affected by the drug misuse of someone they care about. Our trained volunteers are there to listen and can provide information and signposting to other sources of help.

Call our helpline on 08080 10 10 11.

Annual conference

Each year we hold an annual conference and AGM which includes speakers and workshops. The event is a great opportunity for Family Support Groups to meet one another and network with other organisations.

This year’s annual conference and AGM takes place on Saturday 1st October in Dundee. We would love to see you there.
