Family Support Groups

Friendship and support

We help to set up Family Support Groups and give advice and ongoing support for the running of the groups. We also facilitate information sharing and learning through our newsletter, annual conference and conference calls.

Our Family Development Support Officer, Lisa Finlayson, says, ‘These groups provide essential emotional and practical support to their members.

‘It gives me tremendous satisfaction to see group members grow in confidence as they work together on activities for the benefit of their group and communities.’
