The Alcohol Problems Clinic (APC) offers a range of interventions to help you become totally abstinent from alcohol. The six week programme involves working with our friendly, non-judgemental nursing and medical team and involves group work, one-to-one sessions and recovery programmes. Treatment at the APC is entirely voluntary. You will be allocated a named nurse who will support you through your treatment and who will work with you to design a care plan based on your individual needs. You will have a choice in how you are treated and APC staff will make sure your opinion is taken into consideration throughout your treatment. APC staff will work hard to make sure you are made to feel welcome and safe.
To refer yourself for support regarding your alcohol use, you can call the Adult Services Referral Team (ASeRT) on 0300 300 1380 or speak to your GP or other worker.
