Service Provision

The Greater Glasgow & Clyde West of Scotland Overdose Response Team (GG&CORT) is a rapid response to near-fatal overdoses which provides a short, focused period of support to each person. GG&CORT assertively connects individuals with mainstream alcohol and other drug services

GG&GORT aims to contact the individual who has experienced a near fatal overdose (NFO) within 48 from the point of referral and provide intensive, yet brief interventions that will address immediate risk. Links will also be made with either community and/or clinical services local to the area the individual lives. This service aim is to get people into treatment and provide appropriate immediate interventions including harm reduction and naloxone

If you think someone may have suffered an NFO and requires crisis intervention referrals can be made via phone or email.
