Barnardo’s Intandem Service

An Ayrshire wide project that supports children aged 8-14 years that are Looked after and living at home. The mentor will meet up with the young person usually once a week for around 1-2 hours. The mentor will provide activities and outings to suit the young person’s needs/choice. The service aims for the mentor to build a positive, trusting, supportive and secure relationship with the young person.

Youth services

Supports individuals and groups, for example young people identifying as LGBTQ, in personal development and developing the skills to make positive life choices.

Mental health

Services supporting children and young people’s emotional health and wellbeing. We have centres where children and young people can visit and have a trained worker they can trust and talk to. We help them build their confidence and get to the root of their difficulties.
