Being There Family Support – Annandale & Eskdale
Service Provision
**This service covers the whole of Dumfries & Galloway from DG1 postcodes to DG16**
Are you concerned about a loved one’s alcohol or drug use? How does this make you feel? If you are over 18 and living in Dumfries and Galloway, a new support service, Being There, can help you.
This new and innovative service will offer a listening ear for people struggling with a loved one’s drug or alcohol use.
Being There is a free, confidential, non-judgmental service, which can offer emotional support, help and practical advice…when families and friends need it most.
Support options are:
- one to one support both online and face to face
- Development of family support group – get in touch if you are interested in joining.
- supports are offered utilising CRAFT support interventions. Find more info on CRAFT here.
This service is working in a partnership and can be accessed by contacting the Scottish Families Helpline on 08080 10 10 11 where a referral can be made to the service on your behalf.
