The Assertive Engagement Support Team (ES Team) is made up of both Borders Addictioin Service (BAS) and We Are With You (WAWY) staff.

The ES Team provide a service to people who are currently experiencing barriers to accessing service or at risk of disengagement from alcohol and drugs services and/or have been identified at increased risk of drug related death e.g. following accidental overdose and operate to reduce barriers to access to alcohol and drugs services as well as providing harm reduction advice. The ES Team may also provide enhanced support for people in crisis.
