Community Alcohol Related Damage Service (CARDS)
Service Provision
Community Alcohol Related Damage Service (CARDS) is a befriending service which provides emotional health and social networks to people who have alcohol related brain damage and their carers. The support is provided by volunteers.
- Peer support
- Leisure and social groups
- Online/telephone support
- Outreach for those at highest risk
- Choice of gender of support worker
- Moving On: help with education, training and work
Referrals
Anybody can refer to CARDS. Self referrals are welcome. Visits from the service can be arranged any time throughout the week, evenings and weekends.
