Service Provision

Do you live in Glasgow city?  Are you or someone you know in addiction crisis?

Crisis Outreach Team (COS) provide a rapid outreach response to individuals in addiction crisis (alcohol and/or drugs) and at increased risk of overdose from street drugs.

Provision of a period of assessment, engagement and brief interventions for people with highly complex needs.

A specialised addiction service using a harm reduction approach, offering a suite of interventions – naloxone, dry blood spot testing and needle replacement, foil, condoms, safer injecting advice, alcohol brief interventions and direct access to community treatment services.

Working closely with mental health services, alcohol and drug recovery services, addiction liaison, Scottish Ambulance, Police Scotland, Turning Point Scotland, Simon Community and other 3rd sector and voluntary services.

Promoting recovery and preventing relapse through the provision of flexible range of clinical and psychosocial interventions.

Service operates 365 days of the year 0800-2030hrs Monday to Sunday.  Contact must be via phone or email no walks-ins permitted.
