Family Support Recovery Service – Renfrewshire
Our aim is to support people and families in Renfrewshire to cope with mental health and/or substance use. If you are not sure if this is the service for you just call and we can chat it through.
If you are worried about someone else’s substance use or mental health the Family Support Recovery Team can help you. They offer the following services;
- Family support groups – Weekly group where people who have/have had a loved one with problematic substance use can get together and talk about what has been happening for them that week. Throughout various sessions there will be art and crafts activities. Meets each Wednesday 1900-2000hrs CIRCLE Recovery Hub, 81 Glasgow Road, PA1 3PE
- Family Support Drop in – Second Wednesday every month 13:00-15:00hrs, Bricklane Studios 7-9 Weir Street, PA3 4DW
- CRAFT support (Community Reinforcement And Family Training) – 7 week sessions information provided on referral
- Young Person’s family support – For young people aged who have a loved one with prolematic substance use or have had a care giver who has problematic substance use. Young people will usually be 16-25 but this can be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Times TBC
- One to one support for those who cannot meet the times of other support sessions.
- Empowered to Flourish group – 8 weeks of sessions talking about improving empowerment, self-esteem and acknowledging life timelines. Information provided on referral.
- Bereavement support group each Thursday/Friday 1000-1100hrs, Bricklane Studios 7-9 Weir Street, PA3 4DW
- Family friend social events (BBQ’s, picnics, parties and more!)
We work alongside the Circle Recovery Hub in Paisley.
