Kickin On – Renfrewshire

Service provision

We are Kickin’ On, a peer support group based in Renfrewshire. Every week, we provide a safe and non-judgemental environment through exercise and talking therapy to help ease the burden to those suffering with poor mental health, addiction problems, social isolation struggles and loneliness. We’ve both faced our own struggles with mental health and addictions throughout the years and understand first-hand the pain of losing someone you love to suicide. That’s why we’re both resolute in our mission to eradicate the stigma in our society around mental health issues and addiction as legitimate issues, as well as raise awareness surrounding suicide deaths of young men within the Renfrewshire community.
