Service Provision

Partnership between Turning Point Scotland and the Simon Community.

LORT aims to contact the individual who has experienced a near fatal overdose (NFO) within 48 from the point of referral and provide intensive, yet brief interventions that will address immediate risk.  Links will also be made with either community and/or clinical services local to the area the individual lives.  This service aim is to get people into treatment and provide appropriate immediate interventions including harm reduction and naloxone.
