Penumbra Dundee Wellbeing Service (Nova Service)

Penumbra runs a Nova Service in Dundee city centre. It works with adults experiencing mental health difficulties throughout the area.

The Service provides flexible, person-centred and recovery-focused support. Individuals are offered one to one support, POWWOWS (Penumbra Workshops on Wellbeing) and Peer Support.

The primary aim of the service is to promote social inclusion through community integration and involvement. Individuals supported by the service are encouraged to access mainstream activities and increase their social network, which is achieved through careful planning of the individual’s personal goals. Self management and well-being tools are also offered.
