Service Provision
Peer Support Service – People involved in peer support have other shared characteristics and experiences, and come together to:
- Create a safe space for each other
- Develop relationships of trust
- Use their shared experiences to give and receive support – choose the parts of their personal experiences they talk about, seek support for, and use to support other people
- Help each other learn about how best to manage feelings and experiences that are difficult
- Feel less alone – talking about our experiences and share coping strategies, builds a sense of purpose, community and connectedness
Recovery Activities
These include the weekly recovery cafe’s, recovery jam and alcohol and drug free social evenings. Updated list of ongoing supports are available via the website click here
We have launched a new private Facebook Group for any Inverclyde residents on their recovery journey or family members concerned about their loved one. Click to join and an admin with authorise your access.
