Service Provision
Young person substance use – Provides a service that promotes harm reduction and recovery for young people using substances. Taking a youth work approach to build rapport and help to understand each young person. Support them to build new coping strategies to deal with emotional pain and all other challenges in their lives.
Using evidenced based recovery tools to support young people to make better choices in life and to cope with life when it gets tough.
Young person family support – Also provide support for young people who are impacted by someone else’s substance use, this may be a parent or other family member. We work with that young person to give them a safe space to open up about how they are feeling and help them cope.
Youth programme – provides an adolescent after school and youth group drop in within the hub. They have the support to build positve relationships. Hub is open Monday to Friday and drop in is available Tuesdays 6pm-9.30pm.
Emotional wellbeing programme – working with young people during times of emotional distress. Using counselling skills and psychological strategies we help young people during periods of their lives when they feel like life is unmanageable.
